A/N: I really appreciate reviews!!! :-) This starts during that ep where Lex had all those bugs in his house, then shoots off into my own world.Lionel stood near the door, watching his son. He'd been acting strangely again these past few days, and several times in the middle of the night Lionel had seen him drive off toward the Kent farm. He had a feeling it had something to do with Clark. Lionel walked toward the couch. He knew his son thought he didn't love him, but he really did. He just didn't know how to show it. Not after what had happened all those years ago.
"Hello Lex," Lionel said as he sat down near his son, deciding to give it another try. They'd probably end up fighting again, but he still thought he should try. "You seem a little off. Is something wrong?"
Lex glanced over at him. Lionel saw instantly that Lex was in that strange faze out mode that seemed to happen every so often.
"Go away," Lex muttered. "I don't like you."
Lionel sighed. He'd forgotten how blunt his son was in this mode. "I know that, son. I've been trying to fix that for some time now, but you won't let me."
Lionel reached out to touch Lex's shoulder. Lex let out a snarl and shot away from the couch. Lionel pulled his hand back and looked up at his son, startled.
"Only Clark," Lex snarled before suddenly seeming to just disappear.
Ah, so he'd been right! It did have something to do with Clark.
----------
Lex suddenly appeared in front of the Kents, making them all jump.
"Hi Lex," Clark said nervously. He stood up from the couch from where he'd been watching TV.
"Well he really can super speed," Jonathan said.
Lex just stared at Clark. The Kents looked up at Clark.
"I think he's in faze out mode," Clark explained. That other part of him was stirring in him again. He timidly reached out and place a hand on Lex's shoulder. "You okay?"
The minute Clark's hand touched Lex's shoulder he seemed to relax. Lex smiled. "Am now."
There was a knock on the door. Martha got up to get it. She came back a minute later with Lionel.
Some kind of alarm went off in Clark and he moved protectively in front of Lex. He had the strongest urge to snarl at Lionel, but he held it in check.
"Lex, I think we need to talk," Lionel said.
"I think you need to get out of my house," Jonathan said, standing. "If Lex wants to be here, that's his business."
Clark heard Lex snarl. "Get out. I don't like you."
Lionel sighed. "That's the second time today you've said that."
Lionel glanced at Jonathan. Jonathan lifted a finger. "Door's right there."
Lionel left and Lex suddenly came back.
"Why is it every time I come back I'm here?" Lex asked.
"Because you have some kind of...thing for Clark."
Lex snorted. "Duh."
Clark laughed. "Did you just say duh?"
Lex rolled his eyes. "I'm not completely hopeless, you know."
"What do you mean?" Jonathan asked.
"I told you, Clarks the dom. When I'm in faze out I automatically go to him."
Jonathan's eyes narrowed. Martha had a funny look on her face.
"You sure that's it?"
Lex looked at the floor and shrugged. "Clark? Can I talk to you?"
"Yeah, sure," Clark led Lex up to his room.
Lex took a look around the room. His eyes landed on the bed and he quickly turned to Clark.
"When...when I kissed you the other day, you didn't try to stop me," Lex said slowly.
"Well, that other part of me took over," Clark said quickly.
"No, it was you at first. And you didn't try to stop me. Why?"
Clark paused. He turned toward his window, then back again.
"For a little while now I've been getting these...these funny feelings around you. Like a week ago when you pouted." Clark paused, then continued. "Until only a little while ago, every time I saw Lana...I felt like my muscles just melted and I'd get this funny feeling in my stomach. Now...it happens when you walk into the room. I look at Lana like I used to look at you, as a friend."
Clark looked Lex in the eye. Some sort of battle was going on in Lex's head.
"Clark..." He murmured.
"It's okay if you want to laugh at me," Clark said, turning back toward the window.
"I don't want to laugh at you," Lex said with a strange little laugh. "I want to kiss you."
Clark turned again, eyes slightly wide.
"Then kiss me," Clark said in a sudden surge of braveness.
Lex stood still for a moment, then walked toward Clark. Clark could feel his heart racing at a thousand miles an hour and Lex leaned up toward him. Deciding he was going to slow, Clark leaned down the rest of the way and pressed his lips to Lex's.
Lex knew this wasn't, but it felt like their first kiss. He felt Clark wraped his arms around him and Lex snaked his around Clark's shoulders. He slipped his tongue out and ran it along Clark's bottom lip, silently asking permission to enter. It was granted and there was a brief battle before Lex let Clark win.
Clark trailed down to Lex's neck. Lex arched his head back, giving Clark more room. Clark's lips trailed over every inch of Lex's throat before he moved back up to his mouth.
"Clark?"
Clark and Lex broke apart as the door opened.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Martha went to close the door again.
"It's okay, Mom," Clark gave Lex a quick kiss on the forehead and moved toward the door. "Did you want something?"
"It's just you two were taking so long."
"Oh. Um...we were making out," Clark blushed. "Kinda happened on accident."
"Is he...?"
"I'm not fazed out," Lex answered. He glanced at Clark and smiled.
"Oh. Well...I'll just leave you two, then."
Martha closed the door and Lex burst out laughing. A second later Clark joined him. Lex ended up falling back on the bed and Clark took advange of the position, pouncing on top of him and kissing him again.
Lex rolled them on their sides and pulled away, tucking his head under Clark's chin. Clark wrapped his arms around him and hoped that they didn't have to move for a very long time.
CHAPTER FOUR
Clark woke up alone. He frowned. He'd expected Lex to be there, even if he wasn't in faze out mode. He sat up and heard something going on downstairs and heard his father yell something.
Clark got up and headed downstairs.
"Put that out..."
"I'm trying!"
Clark got downstairs. "What's going on?"
Lex turned around and Clark's eyes widened. The tips of Lex's fingers were on fire. The flames stretched out about five inches but didn't appear to be burning him.
"What happened?" Clark asked.
"I don't know!" Lex held up his hands. "I woke up and my hands were hot, sort of like the first time I shot fire from my eyes. I got up and came down here and they just sort of lit all of a sudden. It doesn't hurt or anything, but I can't figure out how to put it out."
Clark walked forward. "Huh. I can't do that."
"Maybe you can and just haven't yet," Lex sighed. He closed his fists, then opened them again and the fire was gone.
"Oh," Lex started laughing. "I just had to close them."
Jonathan and Martha looked relieved.
"You know, that looked kinda cool," Clark grinned. "Sort of like that woman on X-men with the really long finger nail things, only fire instead."
Lex rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say."
Clark went back up to his room. It was Saturday, for saturday he was up early.
An hour later he woke up with Lex on top of him in faze out mode. As he woke up Lex leaned down and kissed him.
When Lex pulled away Clark was in his own faze mode.
"Is it time?" Clark asked.
Lex smiled and nodded. Clark leaned up and kissed him again. He rolled so Lex was underneath him.
Martha went up stairs and froze when she heard a moan from the bedroom. She heard another one and sighed. She and Clark were going to have a serious talk when he came down.
-------
Clark woke up with a naked Lex curled around him. Which sure as hell wasn't he worst thing in the world, but it was a little wiggy.
"Um, Lex? Lex? Wake up."
Lex woke up. He sat up slightly, looked down at Clark, then made a funny goaning noise and fell back down on Clark's chest.
"Uh...Lex?"
"Comfy," He heard Lex mutter.
Clark laughed. "Um, Lex? We just kinda broke the law."
Lex snorted. "Oh my god, Clark, we're ALIENS. You're probably older then 16."
"Yeah, but they don't know that."
"And they don't have to know," Lex sat up. "Your parents are going to LOVE this."
Clarks eyes widened. "Oh shit! My parents."
Clark leaped out of bed and toward the door.
"Er...Clark? Not that I don't appreciate the view, but is running downstairs naked really a good idea?"
Clark blushed. "Oh, guess not. Um...pants, where are my pants..."
Ten minutes later both of them went downstairs. Jonathan and Martha both turned and gave them looks.
"We were in faze out mode," Clark said.
Jonathan raised an eyebrow.
"We were!" Clark insisted.
"We were, Mr. Kent," Lex told him.
"And would you have done it anyway?"
"Well..." Clark paused. "Oh hell, yeah."
Martha sighed. "You've already had the speach, but be careful."
She suddenly paused. "You were safe, weren't you?"
"I don't know!" Clark yelled. "We were fazed out!! But besides, I don't think I have any diseases or anything."
"I'll go," Lex said suddenly, seeing the way Jonathan was looking at him.
Clark nodded. Lex left, deciding he'd come back later.
-------------
Two weeks later.
Lex was finally out of heat. He and Clark hadn't seen much of each other because of Clark's parents. Lex was getting a little fed up with it. He wanted to see Clark again. He wanted to tell Clark about another newly found ability; ice vision.
And he wanted to tell Clark about the weird things that had started happening a week ago.
Deciding to go, Lex stood up just as Clark walked in.
"Hey!" Clark smiled at him. "I finally got away for a while."
Lex ran over. He kissed Clark before he even thought. He felt Clark kiss him back, then pulled away.
"Hey, you remember your fire fingers thing? I can do that now."
"Can you do ice vision?" Lex asked.
Clark frowned. "How did you know that?"
"I just started doing it." Lex walked over and sat back down on the couch. "I wanted to talk to you. Something strange has been going on since we had sex."
Clark sat down beside him. "Oh? What's that?"
"Well, about a week ago I started getting sick in the mornings. I've even thrown up a few times. Which is strange, because I haven't gotten sick since the meteors."
"And it's been going on for a week?"
"Yeah. Also, I keep getting weird cravings and sometimes my moods swing really suddenly."
Clark laughed. "If you were a woman I'd say you were pregnant."
Lex rolled his eyes. "Yeah, thanks for that image, Clark."
Clark smiled. "Sorry. So what do you think it is?"
"I dunno. I could just have a regular flu and be making a big deal out of it. I haven't been sick in forever. I can't remember what it feels like."
Clark shrugged. "I'm sure that's it."
Clark glanced at his watch. "Well, I have to run over to the Talon and drop off some of Mom's pies, wanna come with me?"
Lex nodded. He remained silent until they were in the truck. Then he asked. "Does anybody but your Mom and Dad know about us?"
Clark paused before shaking his head. "I'm afraid if I tell Chloe it will be all over the Torch paper. If I tell Lana she'll tell Chloe, because they don't keep secrets." Clark sighed. "I wish I didn't have to keep secrets."
Lex smiled. "You don't have to with me, anymore. Does that make it any easier?"
Clark nodded. "Yeah. It's nice for someone other then my parents to know and not freak out on me. Nice to know he's kinda like me," Clark grinned at Lex. Lex grinned back.
As they pulled up to the Talon Lex's stomach lurched. He slapped a hand over his mouth and tore for the bathroom inside. Clark walked in more slowly and walked up to Lana.
"What's wrong with Lex?" She asked.
"He's got a bit of a flu," Clark answered. He chewed on the inside of his cheek as he thought about wether or not he should tell her.
Lex came back out looking a little green. Clark reached out and put a hand on his shoulder. Lex smiled.
"I don't like this," He said. "I don't like this at all."
Clark laughed. "Join the club."
A funny look crossed Lana's face. Then she grinned. Clark and Lex both raised an eyebrow at the same time.
"What?" Lana asked. "Do you have my pies, Clark?"
"Yeah," Clark said, still looking suspicious.
Lana turned and grabbed the phone as Lex and Clark walked back outside. Her grin widened when Chloe picked up.
"Chloe, you owe me thirty bucks!" Lana said triumphantly.
CHAPTER FIVE
Lana had to hold the phone away from her ear at Chloe's answering "WHAT!?!?!"
Lana laughed and pulled the phone back. "You owe me thirty bucks."
There was a pause, then "You saw them together? Kissing or something?"
"Well...not, but Clark was nervous when they came in, and they were giving each other looks."
"Okay, that is SO not enough proof for me to hand over my money. I'm coming over. We can spy on them. If we see them doing something, THEN you can have my thirty."
Lana laughed. "Okay."
Twenty minutes later Chloe and Lana were heading for the Luthor mansion. Clark's truck was parked out front.
"How are we supposed to spy on them in there?" Lana asked.
"We're not. We'll wait and see if they come out. If they go somewhere or something."
"Okay," Lana laughed again. "This is kinda fun."
Chloe grinned. "I'm going to DIE if they really are together. I mean, that's just...freaky. And Clark, gay? Seriously, who saw that coming?"
Lana shrugged. "I had a feeling he might be."
"Yeah, and you were the only one," Chloe said, rolling her eyes. "Ooh, here they come."
Lex followed Clark out to the truck. "Do you think I could come over for a while? Maybe try to get on your parents good side?"
Clark laughed. "You're already on my Mom's, but Dad? A very different story." Clark paused. "Um...I called a bit ago and told them I wouldn't be home for a while. You wanna...I dunno, go try stuff? Maybe try to fly?"
Lex threw his head back and laughed. Clark frowned. "What? What'd I say?"
Lex reached out and grabbed Clark's shoulders to keep from falling. When he'd finally recovered and looked up an grinned at Clark.
"Only you would suggest flying as going and doing something," Lex said, and he started laughing again. Clark started to laugh, too, seeing the humor in the suggestion.
"Well, do you?" He said after a second.
Lex shrugged. "Sure. Lets go try to fly. But I want something first."
Clark grinned. "And what might that be?"
"Mm, I think you know."
Clark leaned down and covered Lex's lips with his own. Lex let a little sigh of pleasure escape into Clark's mouth and wrapped his arms around Clark's neck.
In the car, Chloe turned to stare open mouthed at Lana, who grinned and held her hand out.
---
"I fell down again."
"I noticed," Lex tried hard not to giggle as he watched Clark roll over onto his back. "Do you have ANY idea how funny you just looked?"
Clark glared. He had tried jumping up and thinking of flying, and instead he'd fallen face down on the grass.
"Why don't you try jumping?" He challenged.
"Because I feel like I'm dancing or something," Lex said. "Like one of those fairies in fairy tales. I mean, look at this." Lex jumped up and stuck his arms in the air. Clark laughed; he really did look like he was trying to dance.
"Aw, but Lex, you look so cute," Clark teased. Lex mock glared at him.
"I might have to punish you for that."
Clark got up and super sped behind Lex. Lex whipped around and tried to grab him but Clark zipped off again. Laughing, Lex went after him.
"Oh Clark, I'm going to hurt you," Lex sing songed. A laugh sounded behind him, and Clark's strong arms wrapped around him.
"Oh no you're not," Clark dropped a kiss on Lex's head. Lex laughed and let his head fall back against Clark's chest.
"Hmm, what to do with you," Clark wondered out loud. Lex turned.
"I can think of some things."
"Really? Care to share them?"
Lex leaned up and kissed him again. Clark wrapped his arms tighter around Lex and wished he never had to let go. Lex's tongue slipped into his mouth and Clark forgot everything but Lex.
Lex pulled back enough to look into Clark's eyes. Clark felt something odd start happening. His eyes started to heat up, and his heat vision suddenly burst out before he could stop it. He saw Lex's set off and the two beams met.
"Whoa!" Clark muttered when the vision didn't burn either of them, but sent a shock of pleasure down his spine.
"Yeah," Lex agreed. He blinked and the heat vision left. He grinned. "Well that's...interesting."
Clark nodded. "Yeah, it's...uh, Lex? Look down."
Lex looked down and saw...treetops?!?
"We're flying," Lex breathed. He let go of Clark and tried willing himself a little ways away. He went.
"We're flying," Lex said again. For a moment Clark thought he was going to remain perfectly calm, like he always did.
"HELL YEAH!" Lex yelled. Clark laughed and tried moving toward Lex. It worked.
"Oh my god, this is awesome. And slighty scarey," Clark tried not to look down as he flew after Lex.
"Where are we going?"
"Back to your house?" Lex suggested. "Your parents are going to LOVE this."
Clark and Lex moved so they were side by side and shot off toward the farm. They got there much faster then either would have liked and landed right in front of two shocked Kents.
"Hi," Clark said, trying desparately to keep a straight face.
Jonathan looked up. Then he looked back at Clark.
"Did you two just FLY here?"
"We did, Mr. Kent," Lex said.
Martha smiled, but both saw it was a little strained. "That must be wonderful."
"Except for the high part," Clark said. Lex almost rolled his eyes.
Lex opened his mouth to say something and had to close it and take off toward the house. Clark frowned and went after him.
"Are you okay?" Clark asked worridly.
"Ug....yeah." Lex looked at Clark. "What's wrong with me? I don't think this is the flu."
Clark shook his head. "Me either. And we can't exactly go to a doctor."
Lex frowned. "We might be able to. Do you know Helen Bryce?"
Clark shook his head.
"She's a doctor. We were in Anger Management class."
Clark grinned at that memory. "You think she's trustworthy?"
"I've never seen anyone take their doctor/patient confidentiality more seriously. I might have to take the risk."
Clark frowned. Then he slowly nodded. "If she did tell for some reason, people would probably think she's insane anyway."
"Exactly. Can you drive me over?" Lex asked as he stood.
"Sure," Clark took Lex's arm and walked out to the truck with him. He quickly zipped over to tell his parents where they were going before they drove to the hospital.
Twenty minutes later Helen had done every test she could think of and come up with nothing.
"You're perefctly healthy," Helen said.
"What about this flu?"
"It's not the flu, whatever it is. In fact, if you were a woman I'd say you were pregnant."
Lex paled.
"Lex?" Clark asked worridly.
Lex got up and pulled Clark outside with him. "Clark...." He trailed off.
Clark's eyes grew huge. "You don't think...?"
Lex shook his head. "I don't know. It's hard to even think."
"What are we going to do, ask her to run that kind of test?"
Lex frowned. Then he set his face and walked back into the room.
"Oh boy," Clark muttered, and went in after him.
A little bit later and disbelieving Helen gave them the news.
"Lex, according to the tests...you're pregnant."
