Five minutes later Logan walked into the kitchen wearing soft flannel pants and a baggy tee shirt.
"Logan?" Hank asked and Kerian turned to look at him.
"What?"
"You should be resting," Hank said not looking very pleased.
"I'm having a craving, and before you ask Scott's busy with school stuff," Logan said as he walked over to the fridge and looked in.
"How are you feeling Logan?" Kerian asked.
"Fine. Do you need a ride back to your place?" Logan asked as he pulled several things from the fridge and moved to the counter.
"Yeah, actually I do."
"Hank, could you go ask Bobby to come in here?"
"Sure," he said and left.
"Is he old enough to drive?" Kerian asked getting up to watch Logan make himself a strange sandwich.
"Yep. Just turned eighteen last month."
"You asked to see me Logan?" Bobby asked walking then frowned seeing Logan choice for his sandwich.
"Yeah, could you give Kerian a lift home? Oh right. Bobby this is Kerian Blade, Ker this is Robert Drake," Logan asked then said.
"Hi," Ker said with a smile seeing the look on Bobby's face.
"Pleased to meet you Kerian, and sure it'd be no problem. Uh, when did you want to go?"
"Um, now would be good. Maybe I'll see you again Logan," he said as they made their way to the door.
"Sure," Logan called out picking up half of the sandwich and took a big bite.
They fled and he grinned as he happily munched.
"Ugh! What are you eating? Oh wait never mind don't tell me," Scott said as he walked up then backed off to turn away.
"What's the problem?" Logan asked finishing it.
"It looked AND smelled disgusting."
"Oh. Sorry," Logan said and cleaned the counter.
He then washed his hands and face then thought about it to rinse his mouth out or he wouldn't get a kiss.
"Better?" He asked as he moved to wrap his arms around Scott's waist and held him close.
"Yes. . . Hay!" Scott said then pulled away slightly with a gasp.
"What?"
"I just got poked."
"Oh? I think you just got kicked babe," Logan said feeling his belly. "Our baby isn't even born and is kicking me?"
"Sorry."
"Let's get you back in bed?" Scott asked turning around to take a hand.
"Sure. Now that I fed my craving."
"Your cravings are really weird."
"So ya say."
"Marshmallow fluff, pickles, and bologna do not sound good to me."
Logan just shrugged letting Scott lead him back to their room.
"Are you going to rest now?"
"Only if you can stay with me?"
Scott smiled then changed for bed even though it was only seven p.m. Logan smiled and carefully lay on his side and snuggled up to Scott getting comfortable.
"What do you think our baby is? Boy or girl?" Scott asked a few minutes later.
"Hmm, not really sure yet. What do you want?"
"I'd really like a girl, but either way as long as the baby is healthy I don't care."
"Hmm, good," Logan said getting drowsy.
Scott smiled and gently ran his fingers through Logan's hair and he fell fast asleep within moments.
The next thing Scott knew was waking to the sound of Logan throwing up.
He got out of bed and padded to the bathroom door and looked in.
"Ugh, don't taste so good coming back up," Logan groaned to carefully move to the sink and washed his face off and rinsed his mouth out.
"You ok now?" Scott asked moving to his side and handed him a small towel.
"Not sure," he moaned drying his face off.
Scott noticed that the whole time he wouldn't stand up.
"Logan?" He asked getting really worried.
"The kid's got me all twisted up inside."
"Let's get you down to the lab?"
"Yeah."
Scott slowly guided Logan down and onto a bed.
"What is wrong Logan?" Hank asked rushing in wearing a huge robe.
"Don't know Blue, just don't feel so good," Logan moaned laying on his side.
Hank checked him over good then ran several tests to frown.
"What?" Scott asked even more worried.
"His blood sugar is too high. Logan, I'm going to give you something, and I want you to avoid as much sugar as you can for the next few days.
Alright?"
"Sure. . . as long as it helps me feel better," Logan moaned.
"Is the baby ok?" Scott asked.
"Yes. A little hyper, but fine."

For the next two months Logan was very careful and Hank watched his diet very closely as well as his other activities.

"Logan?" Hank asked walking into the den.
"Hmm?"
"You really should go for a short walk outside."
"Sure. Want to go with?" Logan asked letting Hank help him to his feet.
"Sounds good to me. Been cooped up inside way too long doin homework,"
Marie said and walked out with him.
"Hmm, it's so nice out," Logan said with a grin holding a hand to his swollen belly.
"You ok?" Marie asked.
"We're fine."
"Bad habit?"
"Huh? Oh I guess it is," he said not having realized that his hand was on his belly.
Marie just smiled and looked out along the trees to grin.
"Oh look!"
"Hmm?" Logan asked looking to see what had excited her so to find two draft horses in the coral.
"Their beautiful," Marie said as they made their way over.
"Want to ride one?" Scott asked walking over.
"No! I mean I couldn't. . . what if I accidentally touched it? I'd die if I hurt one of them," she said looking worried.
"Trust me, you won't," Scott said with a smile.
"But?"
"Come over here ok?" Scott asked holding his hand out to her.
She reluctantly took his hand and let him pull her to the barn and to a room.
"You'll be wearing this jacket, and shirt along with your gloves.
Also this hat. So there won't be a chance for you to touch them. Ok?"
"Ok," she said and couldn't help it but smile. "Great. Now just take your sweater off, and I'll help you with this," he said and took her sweater to hang it up then helped her with the shirt and jacket.
She held the helmet as she walked out with him.
"Ready darlin?" Logan asked from the fence.
"Yep."
"You'll be fine," he said giving her a grin.
She grinned back and put the helmet on then let Scott help her onto the back of the mare.
"Wow!"
"You ok?" Scott asked moving the stool away.
"Fine," she said with a smile.
Logan suddenly had a very strange feeling and his belly tightened while the baby kicked really hard. He gasped to fell to his knees wrapping both arms around his belly unable to make a sound.
"LOGAN!" Marie yelled.
"Oh shit!" Scott swore and rushed to his side.
"Logan?!"
"Time!"
"Can't be, your only eight months along!" Scott gasped.
"Time. . . NOW!"
// CHARLES! Get Hank to the stables NOW! Logan's in labor!// Scott yelled to him in his mind.
"HANK!" Charles yelled from the den.
"What is it?"
"Logan's in labor. He's out by the stables with Scott and Marie." Hank just turned and took off.
"Logan!" He yelled as he ran to his side.
Scott had him on his back and legs up.
"Baby wants out now!" He gasped as a new wave of pain hit him.
"Let's get you inside," Hank said and stood to look back at the distance to frown.
"He won't make it Hank," Scott said looking worried.
// Charles, have Kurt teleport my bag out to the barn right now? //
// Of course. //
"Let's get him in the barn?"
"Sure."
~ ~ ~
"Kurt, I want you to pop down to the lab grab Hank's bag then pop it out to him in the barn. Ok?"
"Of course Professor," Kurt said and teleported straight down to the lab and grabbed the big black bag Hank had prepared then teleported out to the barn to hear Logan's howl of pain.
"Mein Gott! It is time already?" He asked as he rushed the bag over to Hank.
"Yes it seems the baby wants out and now," Hank said taking the bag. Kurt moved to the large sink and grabbed a clean towel and wet it with cold water and wrung it out then moved over to Logan's left side and handed it to Scott who was on his right.
"Thanks," Scott said and used it to gently wipe Logan's face and neck off.
"Oh that feels nice. . . thanks Elf?" Logan said reaching out his other hand and smiled when without a seconds hesitation Kurt took it and sat at his side.
"Now Logan, I'm going to give you something for the pain," Hank said.
"Good."
"Oh my!" Hank gasped as he examined Logan.
"Hank?" Scott asked.
"It's nothing to worry about Scott. Let's see. . . alright with the next contraction Logan I want you to bear down and push alright?"
"Yeah."
"You mean?"
"Yes."
"Oh my is right!" Scott said.
"Oh gods!" Logan groaned as the next contraction came and he bore down and pushed.
"Your doing very well Logan. Now rest," he said as he felt the contraction had eased.
Logan lay back panting closing his eyes feeling so very tired. He smiled when Scott wiped him off again.
"Feel better?"
"Yeah helps."
Marie walked in and moved to the sink and grabbed a bucket and filled it half way with cold water. She then took it to Scott and placed it next to him.
"Thanks," he said and dropped the towel in and let Logan's hand go to wring it out then wiped his face off again.
"Damn!" Logan groaned and grabbed Scott's hand and pushed a little harder this time.
"Almost Logan, I can see the head. Just a little more," Hank said.
"I. . . can't. . ." Logan said laying back panting harder this time.
"Just one more time Logan, then the baby will be out."
Scott left some water in the rag this time and Logan let out a soft sigh.
"Ready?" Scott asked placing his hand on Logan's stomach.
"Yeah," Logan said staring into Scott's glasses.
When the next contraction came he pushed while Scott pushed his hand right above Hank's.
"Just a little more luv," Scott said then Logan felt the baby's head pop out.
The rest of the baby came out easily.
"Well?" Logan asked exhausted.
"It's a boy," Hank said.
"Congratulations," both Kurt and Marie said with big smiles.
"Scott, would you like to cut the umbilical cord?" Hank asked holding out a pair of scissors.
"Yes," Scott said and did feeling tears of joy sting his eyes.
Hank then cleaned Logan quickly then the baby. He then wrapped him carefully, and they were both rushed to the lab.
"Have you decided on a name for your son?" Hank asked as he finished and gently laid the baby down.
"Not really. . . didn't know what we were havin," Logan said looking to Scott barely able to keep his eyes open.
"No rush. You need to get some rest."
"Hmm, yeah," Logan said and fell asleep.
"Would you like to hold him Scott?" Hank asked standing next to him.
"Yes," Scott said and carefully took his son into his arms with a smile.
"Oh my he is bigger that I had expected," Charles said softly as he moved in.
"That he is. He's perfect," Scott said with a smile.

The next morning Logan woke with a start and was suddenly wide awake having felt nothing from his baby to realize that the baby was gone.
"NO!"
"Logan, it's ok. Calm down, your baby is fine," Hank said rushing in and to his side.
"But?!" Logan asked feeling his stomach.
"You gave birth to him yesterday in the barn. Remember?"
"I. . . of course. Sorry."
"It's perfectly understandable Logan."
"Where is he?"
"Scott's feeding him. . . Ah, here they are," Hank said and saw as Scott walked in with him still in his arms.
"Logan, are you ok?"
"Yeah. . . can I?"
"Of course," Scott said with a smile and moved over to hand their son to him.
"So what do you want to name him?" Logan asked as he gently took him and held the bottle for him to drink.
"I'm not sure. . . I've always liked the name Daniel."
"Hmm, how about Daniel Joseph?"
"I like that," Scott said with a grin.
"Then your naming your son Daniel Joseph Summers?" Hank asked.
"Yep."
Hank went into his office and finished the birth certificate. Then had both Logan and Scott sign it to smile.
"Well good morning," Charles said as he moved in and smiled seeing Logan feeding his son.
"We decided on a name Professor," Scott said still smiling.
"Oh?"
"Daniel Joseph Summers."
"That's a very nice name."
"Was there anything you needed Charles?" Hank asked.
"Hmm? Oh no. I just wanted to let Scott and Logan know that the nursery was finished."
"Really?" Logan asked instantly interested.
"Yes," Charles said with a big smile.
"When can I go take a look?" Logan asked Hank.
"I see no reason why you can't go now. Both you and Daniel are well and can go up."
Logan smiled then handed Danny to Scott so he could get dressed. They then went up and in.
"Wow! I really like it," Logan said walking around looking at everything.
"I'm glad. Will I see you both at dinner?"
"Sure."
Charles was still smiling as he left.
Scott had burped Danny then moved him over and carefully laid him down and covered him.
"I love you," Logan said as he moved and slipped an arm around Scott's waist.
"I love you," Scott said and turned to face him meeting him for a kiss.
"Well I need a shower. Are you going to stay and watch over him?"
"Sure."
Logan smiled and took a quick shower to get dressed they checked on Danny then went down for dinner only to rush back to find him awake.
"He's goin to be up all hours."
"Oh?"
"He was when I was carrying him."
"Hopefully we can get him into a normal routine."
"Lets hope."
